In most cases, it is possible to recognize a color by a hex code, taking into account only the first digits of the pairs. In the example below, it is clear that the color is mixed with a lot of red, a little blue, and no green at all. Understanding color by hex code allows a web designer to navigate the page code faster, and besides, you can always impress colleagues or clients by saying Ah, what a wonderful shade of burgundy. You can also easily change the brightness, hue, or saturation of a color by editing only its hexadecimal code. In the first example below, one of the pairs is changed in 10% steps, while the color brightness increases. In the second example, the brightness rises, but the saturation falls:

RGBA is an extended version of RGB, but with additional support for the alpha channel, which is responsible for the transparency of the color fill. For this color model, four coefficients are already indicated, the last of which is a fractional number in the range from 0, where 0 is full transparency to 1, which will correspond to a completely opaque color. The RGBA system adds another number that describes the transparency of the color, the value can range from 0 (completely transparent) to 1 (completely opaque). A value of 0.5 makes the color semi-transparent, consider a semi-transparent version of dark purple, specified using the RGBA system: color: rgba (204, 51, 255, 0.5). You can see that the values for red, green, and blue are similar to the RGB system. The fourth number - 0.5 is the degree of transparency. RGBA colors are useful for creating translucent elements that make the elements below them visible.
