When to blur a photo
Blur softens detail. A light blur hides noise and small imperfections; a strong one turns a photo into a soft background for text, a banner, a presentation slide or a phone wallpaper.
Move the slider to set the blur radius from 0 to 20 pixels — the higher the value, the softer the picture. The effect depends on the image size: a large camera photo needs a bigger radius than a small web picture to look equally blurred.
This tool blurs the whole image; to blur only a face, a license plate or personal data, open the photo in the editor and blur just a selected area.
Everything runs locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded to a server.
