What makes a good event cover
An event cover appears at the top of the event page, in invitations and in the feed when people share the event. The 1920×1005 canvas has roughly a 1.91:1 ratio, the same wide shape Facebook uses for link previews, so the image looks right wherever the event is shown.
State the essentials in a few words: what, when and where. Facebook already shows the event title and date next to the cover, so the image can focus on a strong visual and one short line of text. Keep text away from the edges, use a font size that stays readable on a phone and make sure it contrasts with the background photo; a semi-transparent dark shape behind the text helps.
The Event design puts the name, details and a date badge such as "OCT 12" in a clear layout, and seven other designs are one click away. Add a background photo, drag and zoom it on the preview, and adjust the overlay darkness so the text stays readable. Download PNG or JPG at 1920×1005, or open the cover in the photo editor for more changes. Nothing is uploaded.
