Mirroring a photo
Flipping creates a mirror image. A horizontal flip fixes selfies that the front camera saved mirrored, makes text in them readable again and changes which way the subject faces in a layout. A vertical flip turns the picture upside down, which is useful for reflections, patterns and symmetrical designs.
Both directions can be combined, and the preview updates immediately. The image keeps its size and format, and you can send the result to the photo editor to continue working on it.
Keep in mind that a mirrored photo also reverses logos, signs and the parting of someone's hair, so check faces and text before publishing the flipped version.
