PNG images in a PDF

PNG is the usual format for screenshots, charts, diagrams, slides and scans of text, because its lossless compression keeps letters and lines perfectly sharp. When you need to hand in several of them — a step-by-step guide, a bug report, lecture slides or signed pages — a single PDF is easier to send, read and print than a folder of images.

The default 100% quality embeds your PNG files in the PDF exactly as they are, so even small text remains crisp. If the images are large photos saved as PNG, lowering the quality slider (down to 30%) stores them as JPEG inside the PDF, which can shrink the document dramatically; transparent areas then turn white.

Arrange the pages by dragging thumbnails, rotate or delete them, and choose A4, Letter or a page that fits each image. Orientation can be automatic, portrait or landscape, and margins none, small or large. Everything is assembled locally in your browser.
