About RGB and HSV
RGB stores a color as the intensity of red, green and blue light from 0 to 255. HSV (hue, saturation, value) rearranges the same information into something closer to how people choose colors: hue is the angle on the color wheel, saturation is how far the color is from grey, and value is how bright it is, with 0% always being black.
HSV is the model behind the square-and-slider color pickers in many graphics editors and UI frameworks, and it is common in image processing, for example when selecting all pixels of a certain hue. Unlike HSL, a fully saturated color in HSV has 100% value, so pure red is hsv(0, 100%, 100%) rather than lightness 50%. CSS has no hsv() function, so for the web copy the HEX, RGB or HSL value shown next to the result.
