When SVG needs to be JPG

SVG is a vector format: its XML code describes shapes, so a browser can draw it sharply at any size. But print shop portals, marketplaces, CMS image fields, presentation apps and many upload forms accept only raster images, and JPG is the most widely supported of them. Converting an SVG to JPG gives you a fixed-size picture that works everywhere.

JPG has no transparency, so the empty areas of an SVG are filled with a background color — white by default, or black or any custom color that matches the page where the image will appear. The output can be the SVG's natural size, 2× or 4× of it, or a custom width up to 16,384 px, and the vector source stays crisp even when rendered large.

The JPG quality slider goes from 10 to 100% and starts at 92%. For logos and flat graphics with sharp edges, keep it high to avoid artifacts around lines, or use SVG to PNG, which is lossless. Several files can be converted at once and downloaded as a ZIP.

Everything runs locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded to a server.
