Headers for emails and newsletters
Most email templates are about 600 pixels wide, which is why the 600×200 canvas is the classic size for a newsletter header. The 1200×400 option has the same proportions at double resolution: display it 600 pixels wide in your email template and it will look sharp on phones and high-density screens.
Many email clients block images until the reader allows them, so never put essential information only in the header — repeat it in the text of the email and set alt text in your email service. Keep the header simple: a logo, a short headline or seasonal visual, and your brand colors. Export JPG for photos to keep the file light, or PNG for logos and flat graphics.
Pick a design, type a short headline, add your logo and choose your brand colors or a photo background. Download JPG for photo headers to keep the file light or PNG for logos and flat graphics, at the exact size; Open in editor sends the header to the photo editor for further changes. Everything is processed in your browser.
Everything runs locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded to a server.
