Visuals for your music
On SoundCloud, listeners see your profile header and your track artwork before they hear a note. The 2480×520 header is a very wide strip at the top of the profile, and the 800×800 square is for track, album or playlist artwork, which appears in feeds, embedded players and search results.
The header is cropped on smaller screens, and your round profile picture and name are placed over its left side, so keep the artist name or release information toward the center and right. Track artwork is shown very small in lists, so use a bold image and, if you add text, keep it short and large. A consistent style across releases helps listeners recognize your music.
