Twitter / X image sizes
X, formerly Twitter, uses three main images. The 1500×500 header stretches across the top of your profile, the 1600×900 image with a 16:9 ratio displays in full in the timeline, and the 400×400 profile picture is shown as a circle next to every post.
The header is cropped differently on phones and computers, and the profile picture covers part of its lower-left area, so keep text and logos in the central band. For post images, a 16:9 layout avoids awkward cropping in the feed; put the key message in large type, because many people see it on a small screen. For the profile picture, center the face or logo and leave some margin for the circular mask.
Pick one of eight designs, type a headline, subtitle and a short line or your @handle, then choose a font, colors or a gradient and add your own photo, which you can drag and zoom right on the preview. Safe-zone guides show what gets cropped or covered, and they are never exported. Download a PNG or JPG at the exact pixel size, or press Open in editor to keep working on layers in the photo editor.
