Creating NFT pixel art
The tool is a pixel art editor for square grids of 16 to 64 pixels. Press Generate for a random avatar or sprite with traits such as hair, eyes, mouth and clothes. Each character comes from a seed number, and the same seed always gives the same result. You can also turn a photo into pixel art with the current palette or an automatic one of 4 to 32 colors, with optional dithering.
Every pixel stays editable with the pencil, eraser, fill, eyedropper, line and rectangle tools. Mirror mode draws both halves at once, and palettes include PICO-8, Game Boy, NES, pastel and grayscale.
Download a PNG at the original size or enlarged to 512, 1000 or 2048 px, with or without the background. For a collection, download a ZIP of 10 to 100 characters with a metadata.json file listing their traits. The tool only creates images; minting happens on the platform you choose. Open in editor passes the picture to the photo editor, and everything stays on your device.
Everything runs locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded to a server.
