About Minecraft skins

A Minecraft skin is a small 64×64 PNG texture that wraps around the player model: head, body, arms and legs, each with a base layer and an outer layer for the hat, jacket, sleeves and pants. Start from the default character, a random skin or a blank template, or open your own PNG; old 64×32 skins are converted to the modern format automatically.

Paint with the pencil, eraser, fill and eyedropper, and use the noise and shade brushes to add texture and depth. Mirror mode paints the left and right sides at once. Choose classic 4-pixel or slim 3-pixel arms, toggle the grid and part labels, and check your work on the live 3D model, which can walk and rotate.

Download the PNG and upload it in the Minecraft Launcher under Skins, choosing the same arm width you used here. The skin never leaves your device.
