Finding a Pantone for HEX
Brand colors are often chosen on screen first and written down as HEX codes. When the brand moves to print — business cards, packaging, merchandise, signage — printers ask for a Pantone number, because a spot color ink gives the same result on every job, which CMYK mixing cannot guarantee.
